Legislation

The legislation passed this year takes bold action to create opportunities so hardworking people can make it in Rhode Island. The legislation also focuses on putting shovels in the ground, making it easier and less expensive to do business in Rhode Island, and training our workers so they can compete in a 21st century economy. We still have a lot of work to do to make Rhode Island a place of opportunity, but these bills show a commitment by Governor Raimondo and the General Assembly to make our state’s comeback a reality.
